Mom,

The Earth Team states they received a weak signal from us last night and no scientific data was received. I can't help it, Mom. Scooby Doo's nothing but a dirty old man. I should have known from the dust. The Earth Team says there was a problem with the telecommunications link. Believe me, Mom, there was no communications link at all. They said, "the telecommunications problem is not thought to be related to the reset problem previously experienced by the lander's computer." Aren't they clever? They say, "the rover remains safely at the rock called Scooby Doo." I'll say. I've never felt so safe. I hate to let the Earth Team down, but even I have my limits.
